“عن عقلمة عن عبد الله بن مسعود عن النبي صلی الله علیه وسلم أنه کان یرفع یدیه في أوّل تکبیرة ثم لایعود”. (شرح معاني الآثار، للطحاوي ۱/ ۱۳۲، جدید ۱/ ۲۹۰، رقم: ۱۳۱۶)
حضرت عبد اللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ حضور صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ صرف شروع کی تکبیر میں دونوں ہاتھوں کو اٹھاتے تھے، پھر اس کے بعد اخیر نماز تک نہیں اٹھاتے تھے۔
“Main ne Nabi Kareem Muhammed(ﷺ) aur Hazrat Abu Bakar (رضي الله عنه) wa Umar (رضي الله عنه) ke peeche Namaz parhi, In Hazraat ne sirf Takbeer-e-Tehreemah ke waqt Rafaul-Yadain kiya.”
Narrated by Hazrat Abdullah ibn Masood (رضی اللہ عنہ), close Sahabi of Rasoolullah (حضور صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)
Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Masud – (رضي الله عنه), very important Sahabi said: I performed Salaat (Namaz) with Nabi Kareem Muhammed (ﷺ), with Hazrat Abu Bakr (رضي الله عنه) and Hazrat Umar (رضي الله عنه). They did not raise their hands (Rafa-ul-Yadain) except at the time of the first Takbeer in the opening of the Salaat.
